Biography
Michelle Cross is obsessed with her music. "I [play and write music] all the time. When I don't have a job I'm playing 14 hours a day. When I do have a job I play 4 or 5 hours a day. I have to do it everyday… as much as I can squeeze in." She describes her songs as therapeutic and very personal. "It's like my journal" although she admits she likes to "steal shoes" a lot.
Sprinkled with classical influences and firmly supported by strong vocals, Cross's songs tend to have a darker moodier feel to them. At times, there is a lot of aggression and rhythm in her piano playing, yet even at its most gentle moments her powerfully emotional and melodic piano-based songs have caused listeners to sit-up and pay attention." Wrong Version of Revolution
Sorry everyone. Michelle just informed me that we posted the wrong version of Revolution I've removed it from the links and downloads and as soon as we receive the correct copy, it'll be posted for you all again.December 22, 2005
Our apologies.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Happy Holidays, you all! I hope everybody is optimistic about the looming New Year....December 14, 2005
There are a couple of tunes that Mz. Brianna will be posting pretty soon. Here's the background:
His Eyes are Blue. This tune is part of the Rock Opera that I mention from time to time. It's one of my favorite tunes off that collection. Short and sweet. The song is part of a story, but I think the lyrics might resonate with some chicks out there, ie: "I don't understand the meaning of a man..."
Revolution. You guys have got to take it easy on me with this one. It is ROUGH. It's off a "first-draft demo" for the upcoming record, Dolls Come to Life. In all reality, this record will probably not be completed until Octoberish. The track is just me/piano/and a generic little drum loop. I dig this song because it's about how unjust it is to slave your life away. Working for something you don't understand is a bitch.
I hope everyone takes it easy, and as always, thank you for your kind words and support. I'm really trying to get this new record done. Revolution, I'm sure, will sound completely different once it is completed, but I hope you still dig the framework.
Thank you. I think I love you.

Comments and...
I've enabled comment posting for the posts here, but you'll need to do a word verification in order to put them through. The last thing we would want on Michelle's website is for a lot of you to jump in and post your favorite porn links.
SO, minus the porn, have at it...
p.s. Keep an eye out for a post from Michelle because, you know, she's due to post soon AND it's almost time for Christmas Surprise 2005!
